required for a medium sized residential care home. Two positions available.Job info:
Salary dependent on experience shift time hours per week 7.30-2.30pm, 2.30pm-9.30pm (shifts with a half an hour unpaid break) 7.30-2.30pm, 2.30pm-9.30pm Alternate weekends and public holiday working required Must have a
Level 2 in Health and Social Care
or above Must have at least2 years supervisory experience
in similar role DBS on the update service preferred, If a DBS is required cost to be paid by the applicant.Duties:
Lead and manage a team of care staff Deal with other health professionals such as GP, district nurses, chiropodist and social workers Order, book-in and changeover medication Be able to write and update care plans Complete audits to support manager such as medication and health and safety Assist people with washing, dressing and using the toilet Carry our regular safety checks Light domestic duties such as vacuuming and cleaning tables after meals Writing in daily reports and care plans Be able to calmly and professional deal with incidents and emergencies Support people with diet and fluid intake Maintaining confidentiality at all times Assist people to take part in social activities and accessing the community
