Full time, 32.5 hours per week

7:00am - 10:00am (15 hrs) & 2:30pm - 6:00pm (17.5 hrs)

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Senior Caretaker to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our learning environment is safe, secure, and maintained to the highest standards for pupils, staff, and visitors.

About the Role:

Responsible for security, maintenance, and the day-to-day running of the school premises Key holder with responsibility for routine and non-routine opening and closing of the school Carry out repairs, maintenance, and health & safety checks across the site Support after-school activities, events, and lettings Lead on site safety, including fire and evacuation procedures Oversee contractors and support cleaning/catering contracts Provide advice and guidance on all premises-related matters

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a school environment Strong knowledge of building maintenance, security, and health & safety Good organisational skills and ability to work independently Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends Commitment to upholding the values and ethos of Boston West Academy
