Within AHJ, we have a vacancy for a Senior Catastrophe Modeller to join the team, with a particular focus on catastrophe and other property portfolio modelling, using licensed software and in-house applications, including RMS RiskModeller, RMS Risklink, AIR Touchstone, Spatial Key.



ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


To work in a team environment and report to the team head. To carry out detailed analysis of clients' portfolios and report results. To present modelling capabilities and results to current and prospective clients. To provide backup to brokers in the form of scientific evidence. To present models to reinsurers and maintain the division's outwards profile. To keep track of current thinking in terms of catastrophe models and new technologies. To translate broker requirements into practical and achievable designs. To assess, manipulate, source and format relevant data. To develop innovative solutions aimed at giving the division a competitive edge in order to maintain current business and win new business.
