Job Description

This is a new role within the Plumbmaster & Bathline Division, which is a truly unique opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to develop and manage a key category and progress your career within one of the market leaders in the supply of Plumbing & Heating products. You will have full accountability for the end-to-end category proposition.

Focused around our customer & commercial strategy, you will find and work with the best suppliers at the best prices, whilst building and maintaining relationships with our branches, providing a service that they need in order to win and increase sales & profitability to drive sustainable growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Support the team to deliver group strategies Form strategic and collaborative relationships with our suppliers Develop a buying strategy to help contribute to overall margin and profit growth Liaise with Stock & Systems to ensure the availability of stock and goods at all time Present agreed monthly performance reports to the Managing Director

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

A strong commercial mind and an instinct for a deal Ability to lead with people management skills Good communication and excellent negotiation Skills - working with our suppliers, branches and sales teams Analytical mind with Strategic Ability Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
