We're looking for an experienced Change & Transformation Consultant to join our growing capability. You'll work at the heart of multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver sustainable organisational change that enables our clients to adapt, transform, and thrive in an evolving digital landscape.
Change & Transformation Consultants at V1 guide organisations through the full change lifecycle--from understanding the current state, co-creating desired outcomes with clients, through to delivering and embedding lasting transformation. You'll work across a range of transformation initiatives including implementing new ways of working (such as agile, product management, or DevOps), managing AI adoption and governance, supporting the introduction of new digital services, and helping organisations build resilience and adaptability.
You'll collaborate closely with product managers, service designers, user researchers, business analysts, technical leads, and senior stakeholders. Your role is to ensure that change isn't just designed but successfully adopted--building capability, addressing resistance, and creating the conditions for transformation to stick.
We're particularly interested in people who:
Change Management Expertise:
Have proven experience applying established change management methodologies such as ADKAR, PROSCI, Kotter's 8-Step Process, or Lean Change Management
Can assess organisational readiness for change, identify risks and barriers, and design tailored change strategies
Are skilled at stakeholder mapping and engagement--identifying change champions, resistors, and influencers across all levels of an organisation
Can design and deliver change communications, training plans, and adoption strategies that resonate with different audiences
Understand how to measure change success through adoption metrics, behaviour change indicators, and cultural assessment
Have experience creating change impact assessments and transition plans
Can coach leaders and teams through transformation, building internal change capability
Understanding the Current State:
Are skilled at rapidly assessing and mapping organisations--understanding structures, cultures, processes, and ways of working
Can facilitate discovery sessions to uncover pain points, blockers, and opportunities for transformation
Use diagnostic tools and frameworks to assess organisational maturity and capability gaps
Can synthesise complex information from multiple sources to create a clear picture of the current state
Are comfortable conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observations to build understanding
Co-creating Outcomes:
Can facilitate collaborative workshops that bring together diverse stakeholders to define transformation goals and success criteria
Are skilled at translating strategic ambitions into actionable change initiatives
Can help clients articulate the "why" of change in ways that motivate and inspire
Use co-design approaches to build ownership and buy-in for transformation
Can balance client aspirations with practical constraints and organisational reality
Delivering Transformation:
Have hands-on experience delivering change programmes from initiation through to embedding
Can design and implement change interventions--from capability building and process redesign to cultural change initiatives
Are comfortable working in ambiguity and helping teams find direction through complex transformations
Can plan and facilitate workshops that drive progress and decision-making
Know when to adapt change approaches based on feedback and emerging insights
Are skilled at navigating difficult conversations and resistance, helping teams find common ground
Transformation Domains:
Have experience supporting organisations to adopt new ways of working such as agile delivery, product management, or DevOps practices
Understand the organisational implications of digital transformation and can help organisations prepare for and adapt to new technologies
Have worked on AI implementation programmes--including governance, policy adoption, capability building, and ethical considerations
Can assess how new products or services impact organisational structures, roles, and ways of working
Have knowledge of organisational resilience and can help organisations become more adaptive and future-ready
Are familiar with progressive organisational models (such as sociocracy, self-management, or network-based structures) and when to apply them
Systems Thinking and Service Awareness:
Think beyond immediate problems to understand interconnections and system-wide impacts
Have a working understanding of service design principles and can collaborate effectively with service designers
Can visualise complex systems and change journeys through journey maps, stakeholder maps, impact assessments, or organisational diagrams
Understand how organisational change connects to service delivery and user experience
Communication and Influence:
Have excellent communication skills, able to adapt messages to different audiences--from front-line staff to C-suite executives
Can build compelling cases for change using evidence, storytelling, and data
Are skilled at influencing without authority and building coalitions for change
Can create change narratives that address concerns and build confidence
Feel confident pitching the value of change management to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders--including those who see it as optional or unnecessary
Collaborative Working:
Work with clients, not just for them--co-creating solutions as one team and building trusted, respectful partnerships
Have experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
Can coach and mentor others in change management approaches
Build psychological safety and create environments where people feel safe to challenge and contribute
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Are confident with collaboration tools like Miro and Lucid
