Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met Collaborate with and manage kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations Assist in meal preparation and presentation Contribute to menu development with innovative ideas Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen Handle our food inventory and assist with ordering supplies Provide excellent service during meal times as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking Strong culinary skills with attention to detail Ability to manage time effectively and "Read the Room" Knowledge of food safety regulations Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management skills Passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and guest preferences
The main responsibilities/requirements for the role will be (but not limited to):

Using your previous experience and training you will be able to provide menu and specials ideas plus be a prompt problem solver that can think on their feet Working to strict cleanliness and organisation skills are

FOH and BOH relations are strong and well established with great respect on both sides, we want to keep it that way so a professional and understanding approach is required Be enthusiastic, motivated and a great team player Keen to learn new skills working within a freshly prepared food environment Assisting the chefs with food service Always maintaining the highest standards by following recipes and presentation specifications Take responsibility for portion control and wastage to ensure GP's are achieved Assisting with stock control, replenishment, stock rotation and storage of deliveries Always work within agreed Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements, demonstrating high standards of personal hygiene in terms of both appearance and working practices Periodical menu changes & planning is shared as a team, bring your experience and knowledge with you. We love creating! The kitchen is very spacious, well equipped with modern kit and also air conditioned Kitchen porter cover is 7 days a week from morning till night Our calendar of events is growing fast with weddings, functions and special occasions. We have also secured our second year of shoot breakfasts and lunches for later this year. Plenty to get your teeth into. We support a varied shift pattern with a few breakfast-lunch shifts, some splits and straights. We also like to get someone away early on a Sunday Sunday lunches are well established as one of the best in Yorkshire and we love doing them! Best quality suppliers across the board and we are proud of them. Is a busy day!
Live-in accommodation can be made available if required at a monthly charge from salary.

Pay: 31,000.00 per year plus tips
