Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in managing kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff during service periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of meals. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Proven ability to manage a team effectively, demonstrating leadership qualities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance within the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure during busy service times. A background in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred, showcasing an understanding of customer service excellence. Ability to supervise kitchen operations while fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Pay: 24,781.00-25,845.00 per year
