We have an exciting opening for an experienced chef & kitchen leader to join our thriving business.

What we are looking for:



We are looking for a highly motivated lead chef / kitchen manager, that is ready to utilise their culinary and most important

leadership skills.



Within this role, you will work as part of a kitchen management team

'alongside'

our current senior chef, taking the lead and management of the daily service operation. This includes team performance, fresh preparation efficiently while encouraging and maintaining a positive and motivated kitchen.

The successful individual must have a

high volume commercial leadership experience

, experience in

implementing smooth operating procedures

,

effective cleaning practices

and the ability to

set an example of strong efficient working

, to the junior team.

Average team size

: Two senior chefs, one full-time junior chef, one part time casual/weekend chef.

Requirements:



Team management. Commercial kitchen preparation and service leadership experience. Experience with fresh food preparation, producing and following detailed prep specification. Minimum Level two food safety certificate, level three preferable. Passion for food quality and presentation. Experience producing and managing effective cleaning procedures. Highly motivated and positive attitude

Bonne Sante, is reputable, Independent bar and restaurant, rated within the top 10 restaurants in Plymouth and considered one of the top venues in Plymouth. We cater with the use of fresh ingredients, bolstering the quality we provide across our global cuisine food menu.

The business is located in the historic Custom House, on the Barbican harbour.

Role/Hours:



Full time role, based over a five day working week.

30 - 50 hours per week.
