The Cornish Arms is a thriving great British pub set on the foothills of Dartmoor in the Standard town of Tavistock.
Since opening in 2013 The Cornish Arms has flourished as a destination pub, seeing diners travel from far and wide to enjoy what the pub has to offer.
In 2014 the Cornish arms was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand which it has retained to date and has been included in The Top 50 Gastro Pubs in the UK, currently sat in 9th in the 2025 awards and also taking away the 'Chef of the year' award!
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and safety. Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. Manage food production processes, ensuring timely service and quality control. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations. Ensure proper inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
