Senior Cleaning Supervisor

to join our Edinburgh team.

Summary

As a Senior Cleaning Supervisor, you will work alongside the cleaning team each day to ensure high standards are consistently delivered. You will also be required to carry out cleaning duties, in addition to supervising the team. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting the team with problems or issues, and ensuring all targets are met. You will also cover for the Contracts Manager during annual leave. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Hours

Full-time position Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Flexibility may be required for operational needs

Responsibilities

Work alongside the cleaning team daily to ensure standards are maintained and assist with cleaning tasks Send morning, midday, and evening reports Carry out cleaning audits and inspections Support the team with daily problems or issues Be reactive to daily operational requirements Maintain a customer-facing role, ensuring excellent client satisfaction Cover for the Contracts Manager during annual leave

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role in cleaning or facilities management While supervisory experience is desirable, candidates who demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and leadership potential are encouraged to apply. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to support, motivate, and guide a team effectively Flexible and adaptable to meet operational needs Willingness to learn and take guidance on supervisory responsibilities
