Overview: Compass Associates, a premier recruitment consultancy specializing in healthcare, is proud to partner with a distinguished Complex Neurological Service. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Clinical Trainer to provide comprehensive clinical training and development leadership for their dynamic nursing and support teams across multiple sites.

Our client specializes in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex neurological needs, including conditions such as Tracheostomy and Ventilator care. As a Senior Clinical Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the nursing staff are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation to provide top-tier care. With the service achieving an "Outstanding" CQC rating, you will contribute to maintaining and elevating these high standards under the guidance of the Centre Director and Clinical Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead clinical skills-based training, professional discussions, and competency assessments.
  • Foster a culture of patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance and implement clinical competencies and training pathways.
  • Provide mentorship, supervision, and appraisal to junior staff.
  • Drive quality care outcomes in line with clinical governance and regulatory guidelines.
Criteria:
  • Registered RGN Nurse with active and clean NMC pin.
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions and staff development.
  • Strong Familiarity with Tracheostomy and Ventilator care or similar management experience.
  • Proficiency in clinical audit, care planning, and evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.

Location: The position is split across all three of their sites (Croydon, South London and Surrey) and would be commutable from; Streatham, Brixton, Croydon, Bromley, Mitchem Heath, Sutton, Wallington, Surbiton, Chessington, Epsom, Purley, Banstead, Redhill, Reigate, Horley as well as most areas of South London and Surrey.
