An exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join this public body at one of their locations across London, Durham, Lytham St Anne's or Glasgow.The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst sits within the commercial Finance team and is required to conduct financial analysis and due diligence of the supplier charges in preparation for the organisation to move to a multi-supplier service model.The post holder will work closely with stakeholders in the Commercial function to ensure agreed commercial outcomes are delivered and value for money is demonstrated.You will be required to build relationships with strategic suppliers, analyse data presented by suppliers and challenge when necessary. The role will enable strategic decision-making surrounding Business Transformation Programme (BTP) deliverables with the provision of robust financial management information.The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will work closely with colleagues across the business and have exposure to Corporate Planning, P&L forecasting and budgeting, supporting the wider finance team as required.Conducting financial analysis & due diligence 23 month Fixed Term ContractThe successful Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will have extensive experience in developing and delivering financial models to enable forecasting and planning as well as challenging costs in a dynamic commercial environment.Ideally you will have a demonstrable track record of making recommendations and influencing people to deliver business goals.It is essential that you are a qualified CCAB accountant and are a confident user of MS Excel.A public sector organisation with offices based across England and Scotland.An initial salary of xc2xa352,300 (Outside of London), xc2xa356,000 (London) plus an excellent benefits package including the opportunity to join the Civil Service Pension Scheme.Please note, this is a 23 month fixed term contract.
