From the iconic luxury of Penfolds and Wynns, to the broad appeal of Lindeman's and newer brands like 19 Crimes, we are committed to creating memorable wine experiences for our consumers.About the roleReporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst role is responsible for business partnering with the UK Sales, Route to Market, and Distributors providing financial, reporting and analytical value add support to ensure delivery against both short and long-term volume, NSR/case, profit, and A&P (Advertising & Promotions) targets.As a key part of this role, you will provide support in the monthly Integrated Business Planning Process and monthly close processes and reporting, providing commercial insight to support KPI delivery.Some of the other responsibilities you will have:

  • Maintain robust financial projections throughout the monthly forecast/IBP cycle, monitoring and influencing business manager forecast submissions and providing insightful commentary to business performance and drivers.
  • Understanding and reporting of risks and opportunities to delivering budgets and forecasts, proactively seek solutions with the Business Managers.
  • Analyse and challenge trading proposals and financial cost implications, working closely with business partners to optimise outcomes for TWE.
  • Challenge the business managers on activities that do not adhere to agreed targets and guidelines and provide alternative solutions.
  • Own the monthly investment accrual reconciliations process across rebates and trade sell, working closely with sales managers to reconcile balances back to agreed customer investment.
  • Provide insights to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager with the level of risk/opportunity identified during the accrual reconciliation process.
About youWe are looking for someone who is a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA / CPA / other), with proven financial reporting and analytical experience.Other key skills and experience:
  • Experience in commercial/finance functions in FMCG organisations
  • Strong analytical and planning skills

  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Highly developed written and verbal communications skills
  • Financial business case development
  • Advanced excel modelling

  • Presentation skills required to summarise and clearly articulate financial position or findings to a wide range of stakeholders
