The full-time starting salary is normally 38,050.00 per annum, with progression available in post to 44,131.00 per annum.

We are looking for an individual with demonstrable knowledge and skills in project management and administration of funded projects. Working within the Birmingham City University's Compliance Team we are seeking an individual who has the skills to work across several disciplines and can support adherence to funding obligations; produce Management Information Systems (MIS); articulate and understand compliance requirements and funding. The individual will be providing support to project teams and working across all faculties engaged in funded projects. The role will require good working relationship with project teams.



You will be educated to a degree level in a related area, and have relevant experience in stakeholder relationships. You will be skilled in report writing with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to a range of audiences. You will have proven experience in providing project support for complex, externally funded projects, including those funded by the EU, UKRI, and other government agencies. You will also have strong budget management skills, with experience in monitoring and managing finances within the context of funded projects. A Project Management Qualification such as PRINCE 2, and experience in the Higher Education sector is desirable.

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so, and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
