The role of the Senior Compliance Officer (SCO) is to ensure that the organisation is conducting its business and activities in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to its industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all compliance issues across all organisational activities to ensure all standards are met which would include the following:
Reviewing insurance documentation and communications for regulatory compliance.
Monitoring client interactions to ensure adherence to FCA guidelines.
Maintaining accurate records and audit trails.
Supporting internal investigations and complaint resolution.
Contributing to the development of compliance training and best practices.
To be accountable for the controlled function of compliance as FCA Approved Person and report any compliance issues that could affect FHT's viability.
Qualifications and experience
One year or more relevant management experience.

One year or more experience in a customer service management role.
(Essential)
Two years or more working experience in a compliance or other auditing role.
(Essential)
Knowledge and understanding of Customer Relations Management (CRM) and other databases.
