Basingstoke (Hybrid, approx. 3 days on-site)

Experience Level:

Mid-Senior (5+ years relevant experience)

Key Responsibilities



Design and develop robust

computer vision algorithms

for detection, classification, segmentation, and tracking Lead research and prototyping of new

vision-based technologies

using

deep learning

and classical methods Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, product) to integrate vision systems into real-world applications Optimise models for

embedded platforms

,

edge devices

, or

cloud environments

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team Stay current with advancements in

AI, deep learning, and computer vision

to apply new techniques to products


Qualifications

Required Skills



Strong proficiency in

Python

and/or

C++

Experience with

deep learning frameworks

(TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) Solid understanding of classical vision techniques (e.g.,

feature extraction

,

optical flow

,

camera calibration

) Experience deploying models to production (cloud, edge, or embedded) Strong mathematical foundation in

linear algebra

probability

optimisation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree

in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline Must have 5+ years of experience in software or vision-based system development
