Senior Consultant (Government & Public Services), UK

Our Government & Public Services team is growing rapidly. We\'re hiring Senior Consultants who are up for the challenging of helping transform the front-line of public services, working across an exciting portfolio of councils, hospitals, social housing, and education providers.

You will have what it takes to shape advice on our client\'s workforce priorities by bringing analytical insight, persuasive written and verbal advice, tight project management, and a drive to develop your skills further in areas like job analysis, job evaluation, job architecture and reward.

You\'ll help us raise the bar for client impact, and mentor colleagues to do the same.

We meet our clients where they are - so you must be prepared to travel to clients weekly which would mean overnight stays away from home.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver workforce and organisational analysis that drives the collection and development of complex data and perspectives into targeted insight.
  • Provide technical expertise and delivery in areas including workforce strategy, organisational design, job evaluation, competency modelling, performance and rewards management.
  • Deliver reporting, stakeholder engagement and project management as part of our public sector consulting engagements.
  • Establish brilliant working relationships with our client teams - helping us match- up to the highest standards of quality and responsiveness.
  • Champion our culture and achieving accelerated development as a \'go to\' subject expert.
  • Support our growth - by delivering research that contributes to our client-facing thought leadership, and supporting business development activities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education to Bachelor degree level
  • At least 3 years experience within a consulting or client facing HR environment.
  • Experience in organisational design and / or related areas of organisational development such as job analysis and evaluation, reward.
  • Experience of applying analytical methods, frameworks and tools under your own direction to deliver high quality project deliverables.
  • Experience of working to demanding deadlines in a project-driven environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience and/or passion for working in a public sector context.
