About the Role



This is a hybrid strategic and hands-on content role. You will lead the development and execution of content strategies, while also producing and overseeing high-impact content across our digital estate. This position requires a balance of strategic planning, creative execution (including written content, videography and photography), and collaborative teamwork to ensure the content offering resonates with its target audience and remains relevant and engaging. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining consistency in our brand representation across all digital channels, both internally and externally, while contributing to the overall marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategy Planning

Develop, manage, and maintain strategic content plans across web, social media, and email communications to ensure content is engaging and relevant whilst applying SEO best practices and maintaining a cohesive and consistent brand presence. Conduct regular audits across marketing platforms, including content audits, to identify performance gaps, evaluate content relevance, and recommend new formats, platforms, or channels. Collaborate on the development of new content series and evergreen content streams that align with brand goals and audience needs. Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure all content strategies align with broader campaign objectives and audience insights. Monitor industry trends, audience behaviour, and competitor activity to inform proactive content planning. This role is critical to driving engagement, building brand equity, and improving conversion across our student recruitment funnel. Success in this role will be measured by improvements in organic traffic, lead conversion rates, and engagement metrics..
Content Creation

Plan, write, and produce a range of engaging content for use across digital channels including social media, website, email campaigns, and blogs, in line with Learna's brand guidelines, SEO best practices and marketing plans. Ensure tone of voice, messaging, and brand guidelines are followed consistently across all content touchpoints. Plan, arrange, and attend a variety of content shoots and live events with internal and external stakeholders: including seminars, graduations, conferences, and in-house filming sessions. Lead the development of high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content that supports engagement, conversion, and brand positioning. Oversee the full content lifecycle: from concept to production to performance analysis, across digital platforms. Manage and refine content calendars, ensuring alignment with key marketing milestones and business objectives.
Website and Digital Presence

Oversee the content for the company websites (mobile first), collaborating with designers and internal tech specialists as necessary. Lead the development of new website content, such as recruitment and B2B pages, ensuring alignment with brand standards. Create blog posts and pillar pages that contribute to SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search rankings. Utilise Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) techniques to enhance user engagement and conversion rates. Design and implement A/B testing for campaign optimisation.
Collaborative Initiatives

Partner with the product and marketing teams to create impactful content pages, incorporating faculty quotes and alumni testimonials. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design email footers that reflect brand guidelines. Liaise with graphic designers and other specialists to ensure the seamless execution of content.
Training and Mentorship

Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to support their development.
Performance and Accountability

Set, agree upon, and deliver against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives. Monitor and report on performance metrics, using insights to optimise strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Analytics and Reporting

Use data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of content initiatives and campaigns. Provide regular reports on content performance, audience perception, and campaign results.

Key Skills, Behaviours, Competency and Experience Required



Proven experience in content management, including the development and implementation of content strategies. Strong content creation skills, including written content, videography and photography. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing high-quality content. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and a range of other design tools, with a strong ability to create high-quality, visually engaging content across various platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Familiarity with PR strategies and media relations. Exceptional organisational and project management skills. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams. Technical marketing skills, including basic HTML for email and web content updates.
