Are you a true sports or casino enthusiast with experience of writing about betting and casinos, with knowledge of content management and SEO? Then you might be our perfect candidate! We are looking for a Senior Content Manager to contribute to the success of our own and operated betting sites.

Better Collective is a leading sports betting media group that aims to improve the betting experience of punters and players. We produce outstanding betting and casino content in a transparent and responsible way so that those who visit our sites can make informed decisions.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Content Manager, your key objectives will be the production, coordination and optimisation of high-class casino and betting content for some of our best affiliate sites. You will become part of a highly skilled and dedicated team, working primarily for the UK market, and trying to cater to various user groups in the broad field of sports betting and casinos within the iGaming industry.


We believe that great SEO content isn't content that features the most keywords, but is the content that performs the best in organic search. That starts with an aspiration to create the best content for the informational needs of our visitors. This might include crafting stories and providing statistical commentary on popular betting markets. We're not interested in creating digital landfill; we want to create content that achieves fantastic reach.

WHAT DOES THIS JOB OFFER YOU

AS OUR SENIOR CONTENT MANAGER YOU WILL

Produce casino and betting content Own the editorial calendar and ensure a deadline driven strategy Take the lead on news/blog content strategy and work alongside the PR team Ensure customer offers are up to date, accurate and supporting content is compliant Make recommendations and present ideas for content beyond editorial Work closely with the SEO team to ensure the content is optimised for search engines and hit dedicated KPIs Work with the SEO manager on event planning and build content around annual events Contribute towards optimising site functionality and layout from ideation through implementation Be goal-oriented and work in a team that hit dedicated KPIs and user metrics Manage one content manager and coordinate efforts with other colleagues/offices on other language editions

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Is passionate about sports and casino, and knows the target audience of people betting and playing casino games Is passionate about content writing and has a keen eye for detail Has good knowledge of sports betting and casino games Has experience using a content management system, preferably WordPress or Contentful Has a proven track record in creating effective and creative content Has experience in writing that performs well in organic search Be goal-oriented, proactive and passionate about reaching business objectives
