Job Summary


The Contract Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing contracts within the organisation. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills and a strong background in project management, particularly within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational abilities and leadership qualities to ensure that all contractual obligations are met while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities



Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards. Collaborate with project teams to establish contract requirements and deliverables. Monitor contract performance and resolve any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle. Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations. Utilise Microsoft Project for effective project planning and tracking. Prepare reports and documentation using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ensure adherence to timelines through effective time management strategies. Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in contract execution. Conduct regular reviews of contracts to identify opportunities for improvement or renegotiation.

Qualifications



Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the construction industry. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract outcomes. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams or projects. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently. A background in IT is advantageous but not essential. A valid driving licence may be required for site visits or meetings as necessary. Pay: 55,000.00-65,000.00 per year
