We are looking for a versatile and experienced self-starter to support our research career programme for Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare Scientists, Pharmacy staff and Psychologists (NMAHPPs).
What you would be doing
---------------------------
The role co-ordinates and support all areas of CATO activity related to NMAHPPs including;
Planning and delivery of academic training and career development events including training programmes, masterclasses and workshops,
Providing advice and support to AHSC NMAHPPs interested in and/or on a clinical academic training pathway. Support and promote local NMAHPP fellowship opportunities.
Committee administration and
Communication activities including development of web materials and newsletters to highlight the support and opportunities aligned to CATO.
You will be working closely with senior Research Leads and others at Imperial and in the AHSC partner organisations. This is a great opportunity to be at the heart of exciting work, working alongside fantastic academic clinicians and located within a professional and lively team
What we are looking for

We are looking for applicants with excellent and diverse administrative experience, strong communication skills and great customer service practice. You will be experienced in coordinating courses/events and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities. You will use your drive and dedication to input into planning and delivery of the programme and provide high quality work in all areas.
Experience of working with professionals in the Higher Education/NHS or research funding sector is critical, as is experience of supporting new initiatives. You will have experience of successfully operating within multi-stakeholder partnerships, be able to develop new systems and processes, manage data and be confident in running a busy events programme. You should have a flexible approach, strong people skills and enjoy working with a small and impactful team.
This opportunity will make good use of your experience gained in roles such as Office Coordinator, Training/Programme Administrator or Project Support Officer.

This is a parental cover opportunity available to start as soon as possible, fixed term for 12 months.
The
Senior Coordinator
will be working closely with the CATO Director and the Head of CATO Programmes, nested within the Imperial College Academic health Science Centre.
