We are looking for an experienced

Senior Credit Controller

to take ownership of our internal debt recovery function and work closely with partners to improve client engagement on outstanding fees.

To be successful in this high-profile, hands-on role, you will need to be highly client focused and a confident communicator with experience managing and leading a team.

The main responsibilities for this Senior Credit Controller job include:

You will report directly to senior leadership and be responsible for:

Leading credit control for a large, varied portfolio of recurring clients

Personally, handling high-value or sensitive debtor relationships

Initiating and managing professional fee recovery discussions with directors,
high-net-worth individuals and business owners

Reviewing and refining internal credit control processes including implementation of suitable software

Producing regular aged debt and performance reports for management

Overseeing and upskilling junior credit control staff as needed

The successful candidate will be based in the UK and will not require a working visa

:

Have at least 5 years' experience in credit control, ideally within an accountancy, legal, or professional services firm

Be a confident, persuasive communicator who is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders

Have strong commercial awareness and ability to balance firmness with diplomacy

Have excellent organisational skills and ability to take ownership of workload
