Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices Assist in training new crew members, sharing your knowledge of best practices Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items Handle cash transactions accurately, applying basic math skills for processing payments Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant environment Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members
