'Colours Snooker and Pool Hall' is a long established business having been in operation in Antrim Street, Lisburn from the early 1980's. Recently been refurbed to a high standard that now comprises of 4 pool tables and 6 snooker tables. As we enter the next era for Colours we are now in the position to recruit a Senior Assistant to help with the overall management of the hall.

We are seeking someone who is genuinely interested in snooker/pool and who will be involved in working alongside the manager to:

- Help oversee the day-to-day operations of the hall, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Help manage and coordinate all aspects of customer services, including greeting and assisting, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Maintain a high level of hospitality and professionalism in all interactions with guests.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the hall, including coordinating cleaning schedules and addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
- Involvement in planning and the management of event bookings, including scheduling and coordination.
- Ensure all events run smoothly.
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials needed for events.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and enhance guest experience.
- Have involvement in training, supervision, and evaluation of staff members to ensure they meet performance standards.

QUALIFICATIONS



- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Proficient in using computer systems for event management, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred although not desired
