The role and responsibilities





This role is ideal for someone who:

Cyber Operations

Strategy:

Design and deliver our cyber security strategy, adapting to the external environment. Lead a technical security working group and own the Cyber Security roadmap.

Cyber Operations Delivery:

Lead cyber security activities for digital and data services, manage the security function, conduct IT security risk assessments, and ensure compliance with cyber standards and frameworks.

Cyber Culture:

Promote a strong cyber security culture through user education and awareness programs. Provide cyber security advice and guidance at all levels.

Cyber Team Management:

Set annual objectives for the cyber operations team, lead, coach, and develop a team of subject matter experts. Foster a culture of openness and feedback.

The role criteria





Advanced degree in cyber security or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong experience of leading and developing an active cyber operations function to deliver BAU activities and achieve complex continual improvements. Strong understanding of cyber security architectures and industry proven methodologies Industry-specific qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar. Knowledge of threat landscapes, penetration testing, and evolving technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Proven experience leading a team of cyber security specialists. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence at all levels. Experience in defining and delivering cyber security strategy, policy, and processes. Ability to adapt to changing situations, solve problems, and develop new solutions. Experience managing cyber operations including out-of-hours support functions. Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the effective maintenance, control, and governance across technical controls.
