We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with extensive experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualisation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric Analytics, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a strong background in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes. This role involves developing, managing, and automating reporting and visualisation solutions to deliver data-driven insights that support business strategy and performance.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of interactive Power BI dashboards to monitor key business metrics, enhancing decision-making across the organization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture reporting requirements, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Drive data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry best practices in data management and reporting.

Develop and automate ETL workflows to streamline reporting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing reporting efficiency by up to 30%.

Build advanced SQL queries and integrate data from various sources (e.g., cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP) to deliver actionable insights.

Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, KPIs, and performance dashboards for senior leadership.

Apply predictive modelling and statistical analysis to provide forward-looking insights and drive business strategies.

Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting best practices in data visualisation, automation, and workflow management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in data analysis

Expertise in Microsoft Fabric Analytics, with the ability to design, develop, and deploy solutions using Fabric for data analysis and reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including creating complex dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to meet business needs.

Hands-on experience with GCP, particularly for cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics.

Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.

Extensive experience in developing and managing ETL workflows to ensure seamless data integration from various sources.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices for maintaining data quality, integrity, and security.

Ability to apply statistical and machine learning models to predict trends and provide actionable business insights.

Experience with cloud-based data storage and analytics, especially using AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience in managing large-scale data repositories.

Experience managing data projects using Agile and SAFe methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Proficiency in using Power Automate for automating repetitive data workflows and report generation.

Mandatory Skills:

Certification on Fabric Analytics Engineer is mandatory

Certification on Power BI is mandatory

Desired Skills:

Python for data analysis and predictive forecasting.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Business Professional (would be an added advantage)

Familiarity with Tableau, Qlik, or Looker for BI solutions.

Project Management experience using Agile methodologies (SAFe/Agile).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
