Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity The role sits within the Treasury COO organisation and you will have significant collaboration with other areas within the team, the wider Finance organizations and group change function. You will report into the Head of Finance Change & Support, who will be responsible for setting up your goals, performance reviews, regular 1-1s and development conversations. The role of Senior Data analyst suits an experience data professional, with strong attention-to-detail and a pro-active, can-do attitude. What will your day look like?

  • Understand and document data requirements from various Finance functions.
  • Support finance project implementations by defining system design documentations
  • Provide data mapping requirement for data ETL between systems for major projects, including but not limited Regulatory Reporting project.
  • Maintaining finance data glossary. Define a standard common business vocabulary for data, building data dictionary, and promote data awareness among Finance organisation.
  • Monitor and report on data SLA from upstream and downstream systems.
  • Regularly review and update EUCs in Finance, and drive the effort to eliminate/automate EUCs.
What do we expect from you?
  • Advance SQL Skills, including understanding data warehouse design principles, ability to read and write more complex SQL queries.
  • Ability to use data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI.
  • Python skills
  • Strong business analysis skills, including collation business requirement, interpreting business requirement into technical language, documentation.
  • Good understanding in ETL solutions, familiar with data solutions design.
  • Basic SQL skills, including basic select statements, understand concepts of data types, tables, views.
