Senior Dental Prosthetics Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Prosthetics Technician with proven expertise in both analogue and digital prosthetic workflows. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the production and quality assurance of implant and bar-retained overdentures, while supporting the continuous growth and innovation of our expanding laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:



Fabricate complete and partial dentures, immediate dentures, overdentures, and other removable prosthetic restorations to a consistently high standard. Plan and execute complex implant and bar-retained overdenture cases, from model analysis through to final fit and finish. Work confidently with both conventional and digital systems, including CAD/CAM software, 3D printing, and scanning technologies. Liaise directly with clinicians to discuss case design, materials, and technical considerations, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the process. Carry out repairs, relines, and additions with precision and attention to detail. Maintain accurate records, case notes, and digital files within the laboratory's workflow management systems. Contribute to workflow development and standardisation, helping to refine processes and maintain efficiency. Supervise or mentor junior technicians where appropriate, fostering a culture of quality, learning, and teamwork. Ensure all work complies with relevant laboratory standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Take ownership of personal workloads, meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.

About You:



Significant hands-on experience in dental prosthetics, with particular focus on implant and bar-retained overdentures. Confident in both traditional and digital methods of production. A motivated, self-organised individual who takes pride in precision and presentation. Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clinicians and colleagues. A collaborative team player eager to contribute to the success and reputation of the laboratory.

Position:

Full-time, on-location in Northern Ireland

Salary:

35,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience)

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
