What you'll do:

As Senior Design Engineer you will provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and development of electrical power systems with a focus on EV fast charging and related technologies. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will support and deputise for the Design Lead taking on leadership responsibilities when necessary.


This role will contribute to the growth and improvement of the business through proactive involvement in business development, status reporting, and other strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a key point of contact for TSG UK project managers and our clients, providing design support and leading design aspects of major projects. Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering their professional development, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Support the design lead during absence Review and check design packages prior to approval: Support the design manager during absence and take on the lead role during this period Support the business including growth, status reporting and any others requirements to help improve the business

Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):

Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent Knowledge of EV fast charging, Inverters power distribution systems and protection schemes Understand and guide in the development of power engineering Being a member of the of a professional Engineering Institution Knowledge of engineering standards in particular BS EN 61439 and BS EN 60204

Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable):

DSEAR skills: Auto Cad Arc flash Knowledge: ETAP and Trimble software: HV Design to BS EN 62271.
