Responsibilities:

• Design and develop brewing and distilling equipment, including brewhouses, fermenters, stills, and related machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments for new equipment and process designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for equipment designs.
• Support the manufacturing and installation of equipment by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors to source components and manage project timelines.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brewing and distilling engineering.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferable
• Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably specialising on the mechanical side.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools, such as Inventor
• Familiarity with process automation and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
