Are you a Senior Design Engineer with experience in turbines, generators, or motors looking for a varied role, an attractive package, and a clear route to progress technically or into management?

Predominantly office-based, you will lead design of projects across a range of innovative sectors including Renewable Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Marine etc. As a go-to Senior Design Engineer, you will directly impact design and oversee work from initial concept to sign-off, playing an integral role in this company's ongoing success.

This position would suit a Senior Design Engineer with a mechanical bias who has previously worked on bespoke machinery, ideally turbines, generators, motors, pumps, or similar rotating equipment.

ROLE

Take the lead on mechanical design developments across multiple sectors Oversee bespoke projects from cradle to grave with full ownership Run advanced simulations and comprehensive testing on new and existing machinery Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class engineering solutions Office based - this role is not hybrid!

Mechanical Design Engineer with proven experience designing bespoke machinery Previous work with turbines, generators, motors, pumps, or similar equipment Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to support assembly, projects, production, and quality when required
