Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
No two projects are ever the same as we support all business sectors. As a Platform Engineer, you will be expected to have the knowledge, confidence, and capability to assist our clients in realising their cloud strategy. This would include:




Undertaking cross-functional engineering projects, working in small teams with other engineers in different knowledge spheres, building supportable, sustainable and reliable services Defining and maintaining technical designs according to cloud best practices and ensuring they are deployed correctly in the Cloud environment whilst championing automation Working with great engineers on large-scale, technically challenging projects - it's all about people at the end of the day. Using leading-edge technology - our clients are constantly looking to take cloud technology further, leveraging open source technology, CI/CD, and modern software architectures such as microservices, to name but a few. Constantly learning through modern platforms and the opportunity to attend conferences, support tech meetups, take part in hackathons, gain industry recognised certification and much, much more.

Your skills and experience
We're looking for Engineers that aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You should learn quickly and love a challenge.




We're not expecting you to be able to tick off all of the below, but if you've got a broad range of experience in modern cloud stacks and can demonstrate a good selection of the list, we'd love to talk to you.




Strong experience with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and administration. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Kafka). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
