The Role:




We seek a senior director of global ecommerce within our Global Marketing Operations team to build the strategy and execute programs that drive engagement and sales through GlobalPayments.com. This position requires strategic planning, digital marketing and digital sales expertise, and technical know-how to create and implement effective e-commerce programs for multiple user journeys.


You will lead a small international team, both cross-functional resources and future direct reports, to ensure globalpayments.com transforms from a brochure website to a revenue generating engine that delivers for our business prospects and customers of all sizes, as well as for our partners: integrated software vendors, financial services partners, developers, and independent sales organizations/resellers.


You will oversee various aspects of the e-commerce operations, ensuring seamless user experiences and optimal revenue generation through multiple country websites and digital tools, including calculators, comparison tools, interactive applications, chat, sms, forms, appointment-setting, and phone.


You will work across the marketing organization and along with Finance, Data, Sales, Operations and Technology to ensure the vision and approach are aligned for the customer.


Responsibilities:

Develop and implement customer-first e-commerce strategies to enhance online presence and sales conversions based on user types/personas. Oversee the digital design and messaging, development, and maintenance of the e-commerce website Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create and execute digital marketing and ABM campaigns with measurable results. Analyze web traffic metrics to create a smooth, optimized sales journey, focusing on improving onsite conversion rates. Suggest solutions to boost GEO, SEO, conversion, and website user performance. Build a global website testing practice and roadmap inclusive of conversion rate optimization and UX best practices Work with our Digital Marketing team to confirm the e-commerce budget and ensure cost-effective operations as it relates to website performance. Develop a customer focused hub to address existing merchants needs, providing a help section, useful content and promotional areas.Lead a team of e-commerce and shared resource professionals to set priorities, guide and coach the team and to report results. Coordinate with product management to ensure timely addition of new products to the online buyer journeys. Work with the commercialization and product teams to develop and enhance product-led growth (PLG) experiences on the website Coordinate with the content strategy team to plan and execute more effective and personalized cross-channel user experiences (blogs, e-newsletters, consideration content in lead and customer nurture). Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all online platforms, as well as for interactive tools, calculators and surveys Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the industry Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize e-commerce performance Oversee customer service processes and policies to enhance customer satisfaction Collaborate with external agencies, overseeing the RFP process for strategic partnerships and website development projects.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field 8+ years of experience managing revenue generating e-commerce websites and programs for a business. Proven experience in developing and implementing e-commerce strategies across multiple user journeys. Strong technical knowledge of website management and e-commerce platforms Strong CRM experience to understand Sales funnel. Salesforce experience is a plus. Proven track record of increasing sales through online channels Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools. Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics Experience in managing large-scale digital projects Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of GEO, SEO, PPC, and other online marketing techniques Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data Experience in budget management and financial planning Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various departments Strong leadership qualities with a proactive and solution-oriented approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant e-commerce and marketing software Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience in the Payments industry is a plus
