Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Document Controller to join our UK Infrastructure Business Unit in Birmingham to set up and manage the project document control systems and train/support project users.

Responsibilities:
Be capable of fulfilling the role of Document Controller to a high level of competence
Support the Information Systems Manager (ISM) in the implementation of Sisk systems and processes for the Common
Data Environment (CDE) across the Business Unit (BU), through the supply chain and with design teams (where possible) for each project
Co-ordinate with the ISM in order to keep up to date with company-wide (CDE) and Digital Field Tool protocol documents and ensure implementation across the BU
Assist the project team to implementation the Sisk file naming protocols in the creation and archiving of e-documentation
When necessary, assist the ISM in the migration of all tender stage information to the CDE in compliance with the standard container structures and filename naming protocols
Experience:
Experience of working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources
Advanced experience of a common data environment (CDE / electronic documentmanagement system (EDMS))
Ability to effectively communicate with, and educate all stakeholders in the CDE protocols, ensuring the protocols are strictly adhered to
Experience of dealing with multidisciplinary design teams and client teams
Experience of dealing with the sub-contractors and the wider supply chain
Ability and willingness to train others
Comprehension of naming conventions to BS1192
Qualifications:
Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite
Understanding of BS 1192 and PAS 1192.
Advanced user of VFP.
Experience of configuration and management of systems in compliance with BS 1192 and PAS 1192.
Experience of conducting internal systems audits.
