We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing drainage projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Duties
Develop detailed drainage system designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
Prepare comprehensive schematics and system design documentation for various infrastructure projects.
Conduct land surveying activities to gather accurate site data essential for system planning.
Utilise GIS tools like ArcGIS to analyse spatial data and support project planning.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, surveyors, and construction personnel to coordinate project execution.
Oversee the preparation of technical reports and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist in construction supervision and site inspections to ensure design integrity and quality control.
Apply mathematical modelling tools such as Mathcad to optimise system performance and efficiency.
Supervisory responsibility for team of Drainage Engineers.
Experience
Proven experience in civil or drainage engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation is essential.
Familiarity with land surveying techniques and tools is highly desirable.
Experience with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis.
Strong understanding of system design principles related to drainage and stormwater management.
Demonstrated project management capabilities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Knowledge of construction processes and schematics development.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction documents effectively. Candidates should be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. A recognised degree in civil engineering or a related discipline is preferred, along with relevant professional certifications or memberships where applicable.
