The Food and Nutrition Marketing Services brand currently offers B2B digital marketing services to food and nutrition ingredients companies by building on the success of our ecosystem comprising online directories, newsletters, webinar series and world-renowned trade shows. We are uniquely positioned to offer highly effective digital solutions to sellers of food and nutraceutical ingredients thanks to our high-quality, worldwide database of over 310,000 food and nutrition professionals.

In the coming years, we are looking to accelerate the growth of our content marketing offerings. To achieve this, we are looking for a senior editor who will lead the production and publication of custom content for subscribers and sponsors, varying from reports and whitepapers to articles, interviews and videos covering key food and nutrition topics. In addition, this role will also support various editorial tasks within the publishing team.

The Senior Editor Sponsored Content - Food, reports to the Head of Publishing. Our collaborative team is made up of content programmers, content editors and digital product specialists focused on producing and publishing engaging content for online and in-person food and nutrition audiences.

Our content is published on three leading B2B websites with a global focus: and , which cover news about the food industry, product development, and ingredient R&D, and , which covers news about nutraceuticals, food supplements, scientific research, and functional health products.

In this role you will

  • Research, write and publish periodical content for subscribers in the form of reports, whitepapers, articles, videos and any other formats required, on key topics related to food and nutraceutical ingredients
  • Research, write and publish custom content commissioned by our clients in the form of reports, whitepapers, articles, videos and any other formats required, on food and nutraceutical ingredients
  • Support the research, writing, editing and publication of editorial content on food and nutraceutical ingredients
  • Join the Digital Sales Teams in calls with new clients to discuss webinar, report or articles topics, process and deliverables related to sponsored content and ensure production of these content products
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure our subscription and sponsorship products deliver on subscriber and sponsorship targets
  • Support execution of the publishing strategy to drive engagement on our current food and nutrition platforms, as well as on any yet to be launched platforms
  • Speak, moderate and participate in online and in-person events and sponsored webinars
  • Deepen our team\'s food and nutrition industry expertise through desktop research, networking, and by building strong partnerships with key content partners
Responsibilities:
  • Sponsored Content Production: Research, write and publish custom content for subscribers and sponsors. Based on the brief research topics, write, compile and deliver content in the form of reports, whitepapers, articles, videos, and any other formats required.
  • Briefing of Content Production: Work with clients and freelancers to develop clear briefs. Manage production from research to publication phase. Brief freelance writers to deliver on spec. Liaise with clients on feedback rounds and edits.
  • Editorial Content Production: Work with the Head of Publishing to research, write and edit the reports, interviews, articles and other collateral required to support online and in-person programme delivery
  • Moderating & Interviewing: Research and moderate webinars, panel discussions, conduct interviews and participate in the content programme at both online and in-person events
  • Reviewing and Editing: Proof, review and edit content before publication to ensure quality and alignment with publishing strategy
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years\' experience working as a food/nutraceutical journalist or editor (EN) creating content with a focus on the food and nutrition industry is a must, and knowledge of food ingredients, regulatory, and R&D a strong advantage
  • Master\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in English, Journalism or similar
  • Experienced at writing high-quality, engaging content and a meticulous attention to detail when proofreading own or other content producers\' work
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence at public speaking
  • A highly developed network of industry experts, associations, startups and manufacturers
  • Experience interpreting and visualising industry market data and insights an advantage
  • A creative, collaborative, highly organised individual who is able to cope with client feedback and stick to deadlines
  • Strong commercial acumen and drive to ensure revenue grows in line with business expectations an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
