My client, a leading M&E Contractor, is seeking a

Senior Electrical Project Manager

to lead a

large-scale solar PV and EV charging installation project

within a live hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Electrical Project Manager

Manage the full project lifecycle for solar PV and EV charging installations. Develop detailed construction phase plans and ensure compliance with CDM and H&S legislation. Lead project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting. Oversee subcontractors and coordinate on-site activities to meet deadlines and quality standards. Handle DNO applications, system design, commissioning, and as-built documentation. Plan scaffolding and access routes (birdcage scaffolds, pedestrian walkways). Liaise with hospital stakeholders to minimise operational disruption. Enforce health & safety best practices throughout all project phases.

Required Key Skills as Senior Electrical Project Manager

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 7-10 years' experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in M&E or renewable energy. Proven track record delivering solar PV and EV charging projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, commissioning, and health & safety protocols. PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification desirable. NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification preferred.
