Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Senior Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold both the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and AM2 qualification, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and technical excellence. This role involves leading electrical installations, maintenance, and testing across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute electrical installations in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems Oversee junior electricians and apprentices, providing guidance and support Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards Carry out periodic inspection and testing of electrical systems Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Liaise with clients, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Essential Qualifications & Experience

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills

ECS Gold Card Experience with building management systems (BMS) Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and leadership skills
