We\'re on the hunt for an exceptional individual to become a pivotal part of our Employee Relations Services team in Salford on a permanent basis.As a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you\'ll be the guiding light for Line Managers, offering comprehensive case management and unwavering administrative support on a variety of ER matters, ranging from suspensions and investigations to disciplinary actions, grievances, and absences in alignment with our company and segment-specific policies and legal requirements.If you bring a wealth of experience from your previous tenure in an HR Shared Services team and have a proven track record of delivering top-notch ER advice, then we want to hear from you.Join us on this journey towards excellence in People Services - where your skills will be recognised and rewarded as you shape a brighter future with us.What you\'ll do:Resolve and respond to ER related queries escalated from HR Services Team, ensuring query resolution is captured on the CSM system managing service requests in a timely mannerProvide practical advice and guidance to line managers on how to manage ER issues in line with the Company policy. Escalate any serious or final stage ER issues to ER Specialists or ER Services ManagerEnsure line managers are clear on how to conduct meetings, including advice on meeting preparation and how meetings should be chaired and concludedUndertake ER administrative activities required to support ER case management, ensuring invite and outcome letters are accurate, and where necessary, checked by an ER Specialist before distributionProvide advice and administrative support to the business on TUPE activity, ensuring you liaise with the wider team to ensure smooth management of the TUPE transfer processUndertake redundancy calculations and necessary administration upon requestProactively monitor cases involving suspensions, through collaborative working with ER Services Team members to ensure cases are prioritised and support is provided to Managers as soon as possible, with breaches communicated to ER Specialists or HRBPs What you bring:Able to provide ER support for a multi-site operationExperience of providing HR advice in line with relevant policies and legislationWell organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage high volume of case work and queries to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written skills with the ability to write a clear, understandable and concise mannerUnderstanding of customer requirements and is able to take ownership of problems/issues and recommend practical HR solutionsPro-active and practical approach to problem solvingProficient in Microsoft Office programmesCIPD qualified or working towardsDesirable Experience of working within a Shared Service environment or busy modern HR Department Understanding of HR systems/technology / SAP HR / CRMExperience of unionised environments, settlement agreements and Employment TribunalsSome understanding of restructuring, mobilisation and TUPE transfersWhat we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it\'s a chance to be part of something greater.
