We are looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Partner to work closely with key stakeholders to deliver high-level advice, support and strategic guidance. Support managers across all areas of employee relations, staff welfare, performance management and absence management. We are looking for a leader to manage team members, acting as the senior operational expert under the HR manager and main point of contact for day-to-day HR queries.
You will build strong relationships both internally and externally, engaging with professionals across the HR sector to stay current on trends and legal developments. It will be your responsibility to identify and implement process enhancements to support the HR team as well as provide direct management to members of the HR team to support in their development, performance and wellbeing. You must actively support the execution of the organisations People Strategy to translate strategic goals into operational HR tasks. You will be tasked with supporting managers in their people management capabilities, specifically in dealing with staff issues. Contribute to initiatives that promote the well-being of staff whilst providing expert advice to managers and employees on well-being related matters. You will be playing a vital role in reviewing and enhancing the organisations employee benefits.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role, with proven expertise and CIPD qualified (or equivalent). Proven ability to work across all levels of the organisation, having up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and being skilled in balancing the needs of individual staff and the organisation, ensuring fair outcomes with legal and regulatory framework are all advantages. You should have strong verbal & written communication skills, competent in using HR information systems as well as standard office software experience. You must be confident in managing complex and sensitive situations, demonstrating discretion and well-reasoned decision-making.
