Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception through to completion. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure that all engineering designs meet regulatory standards and client expectations. We are looking for someone with at least 7 Years experience in a civil engineering related role and the candidate must be able to work dayshift and nightshift

Responsibilities

Manage civil engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning and design. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring health and safety documentation in place for projects and works complies with the agreed safe system of work Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations. Develop and implement inspection in test plans for works and report back on completed works Utilise project management skills to coordinate resources, schedules, and budgets effectively. Working a Mixture of dayshift and nightshift working patterns.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and understanding of CAD and programming software Experience in Setting out and understanding of setting out principles. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-engineering stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
