Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining insulation materials across various building projects, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction-related trades to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, floors, and pipes according to project specifications and schematics Measure, cut, and fit insulation using hand tools such as knives, scissors, and tape measures Operate power tools safely to secure insulation in place Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry, and plastering teams to ensure seamless project execution Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Manage team efficiently to ensure professionality and customer satisfaction Read and interpret schematics to accurately install insulation in complex structures Support construction painting and masonry tasks when necessary

Skills

Proven experience or knowledge in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or construction is advantageous Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in insulation installation and general construction tasks Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings for precise installation planning Ability to work effectively within a team environment across various trades such as carpentry, masonry and plastering. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate measurements and fitting. Good understanding of health and safety practices relevant to construction sites Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if required. Prior experience or training in construction painting or masonry is beneficial not essential. As the team leader you being multi-lingual is an essential skill. As we work nation-wide we require our engineers to have a full and valid drivers licence as well as being happy to have overnight stays in your given accommodations.
