Job description
Our client, a respected entity within the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer - Support Engineering (Training Services) to join their team on a contract basis. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the training services within the organisation, providing critical support to submarine solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and assist in the development and delivery of training services.
• Provide specialist support to the training services team.
• Analyise and evaluate training needs within the submarine solutions domain.
• Document and report on training progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training standards are maintained.
• Offer expert input on training strategies and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Attend onsite meetings as required to coordinate support efforts.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in support engineering within the defence and security sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of training processes and requirements in a technical context.
• Ability to meet security clearance requirements (SC).
• Willingness to attend site 2 days a week every fortnight.
• Commitment to a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Contract Details:

• Location: Barrow, with 2 days onsite every fortnight.
• Duration: 12 months.
• Hours: 37 hours per week.
• Security Clearance: Required (SC).
