Deutsche Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Client Analytics Team within Client 360 enables the business to identify and manage Client profitability and performance. The business is underpinned by a technology platform that allows users to analyse and produce client performance metrics which are consumed across the franchise.

We\xe2\x80\x99re transforming the business\xe2\x80\x99 legacy platform to improve the business process, feeds, and reporting to senior management.

We are looking for business motivated developers with a passion for agile practices to join our team. You will be instrumental in transforming the platform, from working with the business stakeholders in both the Corporate and Investment Bank to define the product, and to defining the technology choices for the future of the platform.

Your key responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining PL/SQL code for database applications, procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
  • Performing performance tuning and optimisation of SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Conducting unit testing and debugging of PL/SQL code to identify and resolve defects and issues
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system designs, data models, and process flow diagrams
Your skills and experience
  • Professional experience in PL/SQL development, including strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL
  • In-depth knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL optimization techniques
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex database issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
