Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and committed Senior Associate (EMDR / Complex Trauma) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, will be BACP / UKCP accredited and hold a qualification and experience as a Certified EMDR Therapist or EMDR Practitioner, approved by EMDR Association UK. We would prefer a therapist who holds at least a years experience in working with this client group.

Whilst this is a freelance (subcontracted) role, we are an established service and have a healthy rate of referrals. As a result, we expect the successful candidate to commit to working with at least four clients, ideally on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

This role demands an organised, ethically minded and engaging therapist, who works well independently and is additionally open to becoming an integral part of our overall team.

What can we offer you?

Ongoing clinical leadership and support from our Founding Managing Director and Clinical Lead 40 per 50 minute session, paid on 8th of each month (or nearest working day) Free consulting room use for our clients, and reduced fee room use for your own clients Free supervision (max 1.5hrs per month) with the Clinical Lead, who is a Trauma Psychotherapist and trained EMDR Therapist. NB: The successful candidate will need to have EMDR supervision in place with an EMDR Consultant, at their own cost.
