Senior Surveyor / Associate - Industrial and Logistics Value and Risk Advisory


The role involves the delivery of loan security and accounts valuations, purchase support and portfolio instructions on the highest profile industrial and logistics assets in the UK, as well as consulting for a range of internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining a consistent and high standard of service. This will include:


Responsibilities and Duties:


Take on projects of market significance with a good level of individual responsibility, and client contract.


Manage own timescales/workload and communicate these to colleagues and managers as appropriate. Deliver within agreed deadlines.


Maintaining a high standard of client service and delivery


Delivering market insight / contributing to presentations and reports to clients


Assisting in generating new business by preparing fee quotes, pitches and/or market reports;


Actively, build network both internally and externally, ensuring the team continues to be engaged both with other sector teams and clients we may only work with intermittently.


Note: making contacts at junior levels is also beneficial.


Project manage deliverables where the inputs from teams in other sectors or geographies are required.


Key Skills required:


Strong / genuine interest in the industrial and logistics sector.


MRICS qualification


Team player with demonstrable commitment to helping achieve the team's goals in terms of fees, professional standards and client service


2 / 5 years of experience


Understanding of commercial property and valuations


Financial modelling skills and experience with Microsoft Excel are essential, knowledge of Argus Enterprise desirable;


Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook essential. Strong data manipulation skills in Excel is essential.


Attention to detail and strong analytical skills


Strong writing and verbal communication skills and comfortable with report writing


Ability to plan and deliver projects within agreed timeframes


A desire and urgency to deliver high quality reports


Some team management responsibilities for the appropriate candidate.
