Senior Estimator

We're recruiting on behalf of a

well-established and respected construction company based in Newry

. This is a fantastic

senior-level opportunity

for an experienced

Estimator

to play a key strategic role in the company's continued growth.

As

Senior Estimator

, you'll take full ownership of the estimating function working closely with senior leadership, commercial, pre-construction, and delivery teams. You'll be instrumental in pricing major projects, developing tender strategies, and leading high-value bids from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead the estimating process across large-scale projects Prepare detailed cost plans, tenders, and submissions Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and supply chain partners Analyse subcontractor pricing and manage procurement input Support and mentor junior estimators Attend handover meetings and contribute to project planning

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a senior estimating role (ideally within building or civil construction) Strong commercial awareness and ability to price from first principles Experience working on frameworks and major tenders Excellent communication and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
