Senior Estimator - Internal Refurbishment

Glendale Interiors is a family business, established in 1976, that specialises in

internal refurbishment, fit-out

We're seeking an experienced

Senior Estimator

to join our growing team. You'll take ownership of the whole tendering and quotation process -- from initial enquiry to submission -- visiting site to scope out projects, producing accurate, competitive quotations and working closely with our commercial and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

The role involves:

Visiting potential projects around the north west and midlands to scope out projects with a view to quoting. Producing rapid budget quotations and more detailed final quotations. Value engineering projects that have been won to improve profitability. Assisting the project manager with pricing queries once a project is on site.

What you'll bring:

At least 3 years proven experience in estimating at a main contractor, fit out contractor or construction company is essential

Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding of construction methods and materials Excellent communication and organisational skills. High numeracy. Ability to manage multiple tenders and quotations and meet deadlines. A full UK driving licence is essential
