Due to growth we are looking for an enthusiastic and professional AV technician/ Production Manager to join our team - depending on experience helping scope, price and deliver upcoming projects in 2026. We welcome applicants with direct experience of the live events industry but would also be happy to hear from those with the right skills who might be working in Film and TV, IT and AV. We have a high retention rate of technicians and are proud that we have a track record of promoting from within. We encourage innovation and are always looking for more sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for clients.

If you join Chameleon you will be encouraged to grow your technical knowledge and client/project management responsibilities as part of a very experienced team with involvement in:

Designing and pricing technical elements of jobs (depending on experience) Able to use AutoCAD, specify and operate AV equipment Leading or being part of a technical crew helping to deliver a variety of events nationwide Prepping the technical equipment for various events within the warehouse Helping manage scenery builds such as stages and sets as part of the event No gym membership but we will do offer an opportunity to load and unload trucks
You would need a willingness to travel and work in various venues across the UK and occasionally abroad

The skills you need to succeed in this role:



This role will be responsible for ensuring high standards on site technically and precision in the prep and de-prep procedures within the warehouse. The position will also involve liaising with clients as part of a larger technical team or as sole contact on site as the technical technician in charge of the AV set up. We would look for all-round technical knowledge including Sound, Lighting, Video, and streaming technologies but welcome a drive to become an expert in one of these areas. A personal goal to improve technically and keep up to date is important.
You will also have the potential to learn from and access our sister company Entec's deep expertise and inventory. The UKs longest running music focused production house.

You will need to have:



Strong organisational skills Good timekeeping and willingness to work out of hours as required Physical fitness Clean and full UK Driving License Be within 1 hour of Milton Keynes Strong English language and communication skills

Pay: 30,000.00-50,000.00 per year
