An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Events Manager at Vice President level to join a prestigious financial institution in London, where your expertise will shape the future of high-profile client events across the EMEA region. This full-time, contract position places you at the heart of an international private bank's events team, offering you the chance to influence event strategy and execution on both a regional and global scale. You will be empowered to bring creative ideas to life, collaborate with senior leadership, and deliver memorable experiences that reflect the highest standards of excellence. The role promises variety, from orchestrating large-scale roadshows to curating intimate roundtable discussions, all while working alongside knowledgeable colleagues who value diversity, inclusion, and professional growth. With comprehensive benefits, flexible working opportunities when possible, and a supportive environment that champions your development, this is your chance to make a significant impact within a world-renowned organisation.

What you'll do:

As Senior Events Manager Vice President based in London, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike. Your primary focus will be leading the end-to-end delivery of high-impact events that engage clients across multiple markets. From conceptualising strategies for major roadshows to collaborating with stakeholders on bespoke gatherings tailored to specific audiences, your role is central to achieving business goals through meaningful connections. You will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution at every stage--whether it's negotiating with vendors for unique venues or managing complex logistics behind the scenes.

Lead the planning and execution of biannual multi-city roadshows across Europe by developing event strategies in partnership with senior leadership and managing all aspects from concept through delivery. Oversee a portfolio of local and regional client events as well as select global initiatives, ensuring each aligns with business objectives and upholds brand standards. Liaise with front office colleagues, product partners, and global events teams to ensure consistent communication and delivery of distinctive experiences for clients. Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budget oversight, production of materials, onsite staffing coordination, speaker management, registration processes, and AV requirements. Utilise event management platforms to create invitations and websites while overseeing all communications before, during, and after each event. Maintain detailed event calendars and provide regular updates in team meetings to share progress reports and strategic insights aligned with local business goals. Foster collaboration between different lines of business by consolidating resources and sharing innovative ideas for cross-selling event opportunities. Ensure rigorous data management throughout the planning process by tracking attendance metrics, analysing post-event feedback, and reporting on return on investment (ROI). Support special projects on a global scale as required by the business unit or senior management. Demonstrate flexibility by accommodating frequent travel across EMEA cities as well as working outside standard business hours when necessary.

What you bring:

To excel as Senior Events Manager Vice President you will bring extensive hands-on experience orchestrating sophisticated events within fast-moving corporate settings--ideally gained in financial services but not exclusively so. Your background demonstrates not only technical mastery over logistics but also genuine enthusiasm for building relationships that foster trust among colleagues at every level. You possess strong interpersonal skills which allow you to navigate multicultural environments sensitively while adapting communication styles accordingly. Your approach is grounded in empathy: understanding what matters most both operationally (for seamless delivery) and emotionally (for memorable guest experiences). Familiarity with digital tools enables you to streamline workflows efficiently whilst maintaining rigorous standards around data privacy compliance. Above all else your dependability shines through--others know they can count on you regardless of complexity or scale involved.

Proven track record in delivering large-scale corporate events as well as smaller executive gatherings across multiple locations within EMEA. Exceptional organisational skills with acute attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines without compromising quality. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) along with hands-on experience using modern event management platforms for communications and analytics. Outstanding oral and written communication abilities enabling clear liaison with senior leadership teams as well as junior colleagues across various markets. Strategic thinker who can anticipate challenges during planning phases while offering creative solutions that enhance attendee experience. Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure; adaptable when responding to last-minute changes or unexpected issues onsite or remotely. Multilingual capabilities--particularly Spanish, French, Italian or German--are highly desirable given the pan-European scope of responsibilities. A positive attitude combined with eagerness to learn new approaches; open-mindedness towards feedback from peers at all levels within the organisation. Willingness to travel frequently throughout EMEA regions coupled with flexibility regarding extended hours or weekend work when required.
